What Therapy Can Look Like
Therapy is a collaborative process that's tailored to you.
Here's what you can expect when we work together.
The Therapy Journey
We'll get to know each other,
talk about what brings you
to therapy, and explore what
you’d like to work on.
1. First Session
We'll begin exploring patterns,
strengths and challenges
while building insight
and learning new tools.
2. Early Sessions
We'll continue building on
what we’re learning, practice new
ways of responding, and adjust
our focus as your needs evolve.
3. Ongoing Therapy
We’ll reflect on your progress,
what you’ve learned, and
the tools you can continue
using beyond therapy.
4. Moving Forward

I draw from CBT, attachment-informed, and relational approaches to guide our work.
Collaborative
We'll work together to understand what matters
to you and where you’d like to see change.
Culturally Responsive
We’ll consider how your culture, relationships, and lived experiences have shaped you.
Strengths-Focused
We'll build on what’s already working while developing new ways to move forward.
What to Expect
A safe, supportive
space for you.
Confidential, private
and judgment-free.
Flexible to your
unique needs.
Practical tools to
supporting meaningful
change.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come because they’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, navigating a life transition, or simply wanting to understand themselves better. If you’re unsure, a free consultation can help you decide whether therapy feels like the right next step.
-
This depends on your goals, preferences, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. Many clients begin with weekly or bi-weekly sessions, and we can adjust the frequency based on what feels most helpful for you.
-
There is no set timeline for therapy. How long we work together will depend on your goals, needs, and what feels helpful to you. We can check in along the way and adjust as your needs evolve.
-
Yes. Virtual therapy can be an effective option for many concerns and allows you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. All you need is a private space, reliable internet connection, and a device for your sessions.
-
Individual psychotherapy sessions are $150 for 50 minutes. A limited number of reduced-fee spaces are available based on availability. Please feel free to ask about current availability during your free consultation.
After each session, you will receive a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider. Coverage for services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) varies between plans, so I recommend confirming your coverage with your insurance provider beforehand.
